Lithium Nitrate
Main content: 99%
Lithium nitrate is a colorless or white crystal. Easy to absorb moisture. Heat to 600 ºC for decomposition. Dissolve in about 2 parts of water and ethanol. The aqueous solution is neutral. Relative density 2.38. The melting point is about 255 ºC. It has strong oxidizing properties and can cause combustion or explosion due to friction or impact with organic matter.
Used for ceramics. Fireworks manufacturing. Molten salt bath. Rocket propellant. Refrigerator. Analytical reagents. Used in the manufacturing of fluorescent materials, heat exchange carriers, and other lithium salts.
Health hazards: This product has irritating effects on the eyes, skin, mucous membranes, and upper respiratory tract. After contact, it can cause stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, etc. High doses can cause kidney damage. Decompose at high temperatures to produce highly toxic nitrogen oxides.
Explosive hazard: This product supports combustion and is irritating.
